About Sanwa products
Why growers choose it
- 01
Holds several times its own weight in water and releases it slowly.
- 02
Renewable — a by-product of coconut processing, not dug from a peat bog.
- 03
Compressed dry, so one 5kg bag carries what would otherwise be several sacks.
How to use Sanwa Fertilizer

Questions growers ask
Does it contain fertilizer?
No. Coco peat is a growing medium and carries no nutrients — feed separately.
How do I rehydrate it?
Add water, let it swell, break the block apart. Then blend it into soil or use it on its own.
How does it compare with peat moss?
Coco peat is a by-product of coconut processing rather than dug from a bog, and it is not strongly acidic — so it does not assume liming to correct pH.
Can I start seeds in it?
Yes — it holds water and air well and is widely used for raising seedlings. It carries no nutrients, so feed as the plants need it.
Can I reuse it?
The fibre holds up, so many growers break it up and use it again. Do not reuse medium from a crop that had disease.
How should I store it?
Dry — it takes up moisture from a damp shed. Kept dry, it lasts indefinitely.
